Yeah, that's exactly what it was cop; the fan-like triangles. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to look at this any further, and I guess it was only 2 arcs, so she moved on I guess.
Sure, you can add the point-density interval to the adjacent features, but I'm wondering why an arc drawn in Microstation by snapping to 3 points, and then brought into the surface, ends up with 30 feature points. Of course, like you said, it's in a 3D file, and maybe snapping to those points that have actual elevation could be causing something to happen. I also don't know how she brought this line in - Drape, Elevations, etc.?
This was an arc created between 2 curb tangents to join them. Like I said though; unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to look at it any further and experiment, so I guess this thread will go Unresolved for now, lol.
