This is my target output. projected and annotated features. Since I am using a profile window as a cross section, there are limits to what I can control to project.
To get this to work, I had to export to geometry and use import surface from geometry. The features that were ending up in the surface did not include all of the points or if it did, they could not be selected in the features properties dialog box.
Today, I was planning on repeating it and sending a screen capture of the dialog box with the missing items - but now, it is working.
But an array of random points would work, since I can set a band width for projecting points.
What I can't do, is select to project lines only or points only as you can in cross sections. I believe that this is a needed option.
