We are using Microstation V8i SS3 and Power InRoads SS3 / SS2.
Our department wants to leverage the SS3 functionality by having all object data (suraces, alignments, profiles, sections, points) reside entirely inside the dgn file, not to have separate, external data files (dtm, alg, etc). So we understand we can link our legacy settings to the Feature Definition in the Microstation dgn file and supplement linked XIN display control with a few element templates as required. We have accomplished a successfull surface import and assume it will be possible to import all the other object data types (alignments, profiles, sections, points). However, we must ask, 1) are we limiting our object funtionality by importing it all into Microstation and 2) is it possible to import all data types into Microstation?
