There is a Copy Preferences tool that may be an Application Add-in all by itself. Loading those is on the Tools Menu of InRoads and when loaded, will also appear on the tools menu.
It can copy just about everything.
Also, XIN files are ASCII XML files. It is possible to edit them directly. But it can be pretty easy to screw them up too. So, just like editing the registry in Windows - do so at your own risk.
