Does anyone have any information on how to explain the plot scales when plotting Cross Sections? My question is when cutting cross sections from a chain using Geopak>Road> cross section> Draw cross section from surface ,it asks you what scale you want. I have entered a 5 horizontal and a 1 vertical. Now when I use the Cross section sheet composition tool it asks for another scale in which i put in the same...horizontal = 5, vertical = 1. There is also a scale for the place sheet cell which i usually leave at 1.0 . Finally there is a scale when plotting a "D" size sheet, in the Plot Menu, in my case usually comes out to being a 5 scale when i maximize the sheet in the plot menu. In the end it is always a 5 scale for a 24 x 36 sheet no matter what scales i use in any of the cross section menu. Hopefully someone can make sense of this and give me some insight.
