Does it stop responding when starting up or does the freeze occur when you are working in the program for a while? Typically when it stops responding on startup, it is an issue with the license. Check the Bentley License Tool under Start > All Programs > Bentley > InRoads Group V8i (SELECTseries 2) > Bentley License Tool and see if the InRoads product show "Activated". You should be able to work in a disconnected mode for 30 days but in order for the program to continue working you must connect to the license server before that 30 days expires to verify a valid license.
You can try to select the product in the list and select "Activate" to see if it will activate an expired license.
Another thing to check is to make sure youa re opening the correct product which you have an available license for. Make sure you are opening InRoads Suite if that is the license available because if you have an InRoads Suite license but you try to open InRoads Site, it will not recognize the valid license and will not open.
