There are issues with the hard coded parser. The newer TDS collectors do not even write RAW files directly any more. You must export an RAW after the fact. The Attributes it writes needs a custom TIW to be recognized. The hard coded parser discards the code used on the actual shot and replaces it with the name of the attribute features. We use a many to one approch with attributes where many alpha codes use the same attribute feature. And for some shots, two attribute features are used. The TIW works just fine with this approach.
Additionally, the TIW also allows Attributes by dotted notes.
This allows you to use the note field, which is any -- record following any point records. The crew, after entering the codes for a shot and accepting it, can press the note button and in the note field, enter a period, followed by the name of an attribute followed by a space (or comma, if so configured) followed by the attribute value.
Sometimes there are no attribute menus available and sometimes the menus do not offer an appropriate choice. This permits a manual creation of attributes on the fly.
And it was my understanding that the refresh contains the fix for the HI/HR changes.
As long as we know the DDMMSS can be read, we can setup our seed files accordingly.
