I am learning Geopak V8i SS2 using the Create Horizontal Alignments Learning Path and the help file as it applies.
I have selected Application->Geopak->Roads->Cross Sections->Cross Section Labeling. Inside the dialog I have printed the help menu info on the various tools inside the Cross Section Navigator. I see how the DP Delta Distance Slope and XS Active Angle options work. But if I am in a section, are these tools intended to be used for drafting sections? I also see a Profile Elevation tool which is a surprise since I am in Section Labeling, not profile labeling. These tools are used in conjunction with Microstation tools such as smart line. So I assume the line work created using these tools is not data associated with the sections in any way. It looks like these are just drafting tools to be used anywhere, not just sections. Am I understanding this tool correctly or is there a hidden meaning I am missing?
