The 2D Geometry roundabout tool as previously supplied is no longer available in Select Series 3. It has been replaced by more extensive and more flexible modelling tools offered by the Openroads that allow modelling in 3D. The roundabout functionality is achieved through the use of Civil Cells in SELECTseries 3 which combine Civil Geometry, corridors, area templates and linear templates to create common roundabout and approach layouts that once placed can be parametrically edited.
The initial release of SELECTseries 3 OpenRoads did not include all the previously distributed roundabout libraries as Civil Cells, only a sample. These libraries will ultimately form part of localisation. In the interim you can maintain Select Series 3 with a previous version on the same machine to continue using the old 2D roundabout libraries.
