I have designed curb to check the adjacent pavement to determine if the spill or catch curb should be displayed. I also have turn lanes that disappear and a median widening. It runs fine from the intersection, but when it gets back into a normal roadway section it's where one side flip flops and I have a catch gutter in a spill scenario. It continues until the templates change and then works again. My test is a null point placed horizontally -2 feet from the pavement edge and vertically dropped on design. My rules tests the vertical value of the null point minus the vertical value of the pavement edge to <= 0. I know the rules works as I use it in my normal section and under super conditions I see it act accordingly. I have a feeling it's testing the rule before the parametric constraints are utilized.
