Your description sounds like you have to cross your control like for a median or a turn lane. First, I would set a horizontal alignment for the line that crosses the control line. From there in your template and designer you will need to have IEOT_LT point follow the the alignment to the point that it intersects with the control line. Then you would need a IEOT_RT point contine on the right side of the alignment. All this can be designed in point controls in the roadway designer. Additionally, you would need an event station drop at the intersected station. Have event stations turned on in the designer. That is a condensed version on how to model it.
