When exporting Master Control alignment from the V8i version , it creates two layer called master control and simplified geometry. As we require to use control with arcs and lines then we have to use simplified geometry, however this layer has discrepancies with master control line. We want to find out the difference between these two layers as we're working on the tunnel project and discrepancies are counted. Is it right to use the simplified geometry layer and does this give the correct lines in accordance to the design alignment? Why are there discrepancies between these two lines?. Which line is more accurate? Also, considering that all the string offsets are referenced to master control. Please advise, please?
