Terrain modeling create from elements

Hi all,

I want to calculate the volumes of a golfcourse , I have 3D drwaings with contours.

When I Create a terrain from element there is nothing vissible in de design file. When I look into the project explorer it shows a terrain model. When I switch from layout to contours or triangle nothing happens?
