Error importing .dat file in Subsurface mode ls Model!!!!
Hello,
I'm trying to import a utility model from SS4 to OpenRoads. I followed the instructions here. I load my .xin file, my .dat file, and my .sdb file. I didn't load a .idf file, but I'm not sure if that's necessary.
Here are the issues I'm having:
1. There is nothing in my Project Configuration dropdown menu to choose from. ( I guess I'm not sure if this is causing issue #2 below).

Automated Catchment Delineation for Sag Inlets
The automatic catchment delineation option that is available when placing an inlet appears to work well for "on grade" inlets. However, when placing an inlet at a low point (sag) the delineated catchment is only the portion draining to the inlet from one side of the sag. This is the case even if the "Inlet Location" property of the prototype is set to "In Sag". See screen shot below. Is there a setting I am missing, or a work-around? Thank you.

batch process in V8i ss4
I am trying to use the batch process to clip a reference that is being attached in PowerInRoads V8i ss4.
Does anyone know how to do this using the batch process?
there is a key-in for it so there is a way to do it using the batch process... I just cannot figure it out.
I have a defined shape that is on its own level for the clip boundary but I cannot get the reference to clip to the boundary.
there is several hundred plan sheets that this needs to be done to.. so any help is appreciated

Multiple SUDA profile runs in same DGN?
I can use the Open Profile Model command to create a profile run in View 2. But when I try to create another profile (say one of the branches) and put it into View 2, it just replaces the previous profile. I need a way to create a DGN that contains the profile runs for all branches of the drainage system, for design review and documentation. How can I do that? Thank you for your assistance.

Creating Feature Definition for Pumping station and Modelling Pumping station
Hi
I Want to model Storm Water network with a Pumping station which will outfall to a pond. I have created the feature definition for the Pump, but don't know how to create it for the pumping station. Currently the entire network is draining to a manhole where I want to add a Pump and then discharge it to the pond directly from the rising main. Please help me to model the network.

Open Roads Designer Connect Edition
I just Downloaded Open Roads, I have some sheets that were done in Micro station V8i Select Series 4 and when I open them in Open Roads Designer Connect Edition it states that V8I Select Series 4 is not supported in Open Roads Designer its read only open as read only.
And when I do a save as its still read only

[V8i] Construct circular fillet on entire alignment
Hey guys,
Just wondering if it is possible to construct circular fillets along an entire alignment automatically instead of dropping the element to individual lines and creating fillets one by one at PIs. If that is possible, can that process be used only to construct circular fillets at PIs of a certain angle range, for example any PI greater than 8 degrees? This would be for a 3D alignment.

Tunnel Corridor Clipping in OpenRoads
I am trying to clip Corridors that are tunnels. I want them to clip in 3D. This is supposed to work in OpenRoads, but i have not succeeded. It just clips 2D as before.

ObjectSpace Browser error and/or Microsoft.NET Framework error
I am running Windows 7 and working in Power GEOPAK V8i SS4 version 08.11.09.878. I am working with Corridor Modeling. I have a roadway model that is about 2 miles long. Pretty simple corridor. When I try to open "corridor objects" I have issues.
I initially had an ObjectSpace Browser error: "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. OpjectSpeace was previously disposed."
I ran windows updates, and now it get the same error except it is shown as a Microsoft .NET Framework error instead of an ObjectSpace Browers error.
I ran the civil display browser "medic" tool.
Other than to start over, I'm not sure where to go from here. Anyone have similar issues that have been resolved?

T Intersection civil cell placed at wrong elevation
When placing a T intersection civil cell, the horizontal appears fine, but the elevation of the cell is well above (~100') the profile of the side street C/L. Any suggestions on why this might occur?

VERY SERIOUS BUG! - DGN / Corridor / Lines Corrupt after changing Country settings - ORD 2019 R2 U7 (10.07.03.18)
Sometimes the company changes the country settings of our computer. If we notice this not quick enough, and change a dgn file, Corridors and Lines (what I noticed so far) made with the earlier settings, becomes
corrupt.
This can bring ORD users in serious troubles!!

OpenRoads Profile Annotation
I have set up a profile annotation group and all of the supporting Element Templates in a dgnlib. I have used the Element Templates to set the level for each annotation entity however, when I apply the annotation group to another file, all of the annotation appears on the Default Level. Why is this?

Depth lock and snap point
Hi everybody.
In older versions of Microstation, it was possible to completely lock the working depth in all cases.
I mean that when I wanted to draw a line at the depth 0.00, i was setting this active depth, i would activate the depth lock, and even if i reached the line at a snap point which wasn't at depth 0.00, my line was.
Now, in OpenRoads Designer, it doesn't seem possible anymore. I can't find any place where i can lock the depth against a snap point.
Does anyone have a solution ?
