With the new OpenRoads tools, we have the ability to create a Profile Model from an element in the design file. When you create this profile model, it will take the active terrain model in the Civil model and use it to create a window in MicroStation utilizing one of the MicroStation views to display a Profile of the surface along this element.
The tool is located under Civil Tools > Vertical Geometry > Open Profile Model. Select the element and then select the view to open the Profile Model in and it will create a quick profile.
