There are XIN reports in the report browser. On the Tools > View XML Reports, opens the browser. Use its File > Open menu and change the file filter from XML to XIN. Notice, there are also filters for ITL and possibly more. You can open an XIN and then, in the XIN folder or in the Survey folder on the browsers left pane are a hansfull of tools that can list some items. IT is possible to edit these Reports (which are XLST style sheets) to change what they report - but you need to know XSL and XSLT "programming".
Also, in the Tools menu is an item called Application Add-ins. When opened it allows you to load additional features. One is Named Symbology Tools. Once loaded, there is an import and export named symbologies tool that creates and reads CSV files.
When you use these, play with them using a copy of your XIN file as they can make a mess if not used properly.
