Extra cross sections

Hi all, 

I'm using InRoads V8i V08.22.07.494 on Vista.

Whenever I create cross sections, there are often a few extra displayed at seemingly random stations. I only have the key stations and template drops settings checked in the Create Cross Section>Controls>Critical Sections Tab and have the interval set to 10. Is there another setting that I'm missing?
