There are too many tasks that are not found in SS3. Some of them that come to mind are:
Plan/Profile Sheet cutting
Plan View Labeler
Draw Profile Tool
Profile Labeler
Drainage
Using DDB to draw Pavement Marking
Quantity Manager
etc.
Several of Benley's own video presentations specifically illustrate how to use SS3 to create GEOPAK-flavored cross-section cells for use in the downstream processes such as sheet cutting, labeling, and earthwork.
We were also told that geometry, Survey, etc. is exportable to the native dabase (GPK, InRoads, etc.) in order to continue to use the downstream tasks provided in SS2. In my opinion there are too many tools that didn't make it into SS3 yet that are requred to produce a biddable, constructable planset.
Now we are being told NOT to switch back to using SS2. Please explain.
