Ok, I see the workflow: select category in D&CM (left pane), select Set Mode in D&CM, select Set in secondary dialog, identify element is prompt to select microstation element, select data point off element to accept (even though there is no prompt to accept), correct me if I am wrong. However, I notice my workflow appears to be the same as my original post. Yes, I am selecting the element, but doesn't the category need to be selected initially or the D&CM does not know what symbology to apply? Is my workflow above correct?
