I just opened the Terrain Modeling "workspace" from last BE conference and looking at the Terrain Element DGNLIB that was created for that class has helped me determine a path to follow.
By looking at each "task" in my workflows as having their own DGNLIB for element templates, the task of setting up these does not seem so daunting.
I need a terrain DGNLIB, obviously - so copying and modifying this to meet each client needs looks very easy.
I already have XIN files for Survey and most geometry, so all I should need is some components DGNLIBS to complete the puzzle. And I have one of those from the Corridor Modeling class.
As I work, questions will come up, but when I looked at the sample workspace, the task looked overwhelming but by compartmentalizing it, I hope to find it more palatable.
