Not trying to hijack the thread, and as an InRoads user, I am not sure where to set that precision for the Roadway Designer in GEOPAK, but the topic and Mike's answer reminded me of an issue or question I have for Ss3 products.
In my dealings with Roadway Designer and the Template Editor in prior releases, I frequently found issues with rounding of slopes, distances and even stationing. So I had in my InRoads XIN file, a special main Options Preference for Roadway Designer and Template work where all of the precisions were maxed out for stationing, linear and slope.
Originally, it did not include stationing, but I found that snapping to graphics for many commands resulted in precise station values, out to 6 decimals, even though the dialog box only showed 2 decimals. Then, if I tried t use that same station but keyed it in or copied it, the result was not what I intended. You would want two items to occur at the same station but in reality, they were different somewhere beyond the 2nd decimal and the result would be strange spikes or other anomalies in feature lines and components where these slight mismatches occurred.
So, in Open Roads (Ss3) is there an easy way two swap in and out precision like I was able to do with my preference?
