RE: Edited triangles and LandXML
One final note. We have continued looking at this and it appears that the triangle editing tools in InRoads are only working on graphics. This means #1 above is probably incorrect and #3 is questionable.

What about the button that reads "Draw COGO Element", if the D&CM does not draw anything in Cogo, what does that button refer to?

We're having the same issue with PowerGEOPAK. We have a workaround to create an external boundary, using a "drape boundary" (see thread: communities.bentley.com/.../92188.aspx). This works fine for...

We, too, are having this problem, even when exporting to GEOPAK TIN. It is very frustrating to perform all sorts of edits to a terrain, only to find out that when exported, the edits are not there....

Frank, You can save the edited triangles by viewing them in the DGN file and then 1) importing them into a surface as breakline features or 2) saving the DGN file as a DXF file. Either method works...

For PowerGEOPAK, here's what I've put together as a workflow recommendation for our users, based partially on work in this and related forums. I don't know if something similar would make sense for...

Frank,Thanks for the suggested workflow. While it sounds tedious, it will certainly save a lot of headaches preserving deleted edge triangles.Much of the internal terrain editing I do involves...

Why not just delete the unwanted triangles? Should take 5 seconds...oh wait, this is Microstation. nevermind.

Mauritzj - Yes, that workflow is VERY tedious. That's why I say Bentley needs to address this. Paul Brandl at PennDOT suggested importing the triangles into the DGN so that they would be fixed in...

Obviously, we are all still learning the best way to approach this problem. Please don't take anything I've suggested as gospel - it will likely be a work in progress for some time. As better ideas...

As you may have found cadReptile, there is a tool within COGO to assign elevations to points by draping them onto a TIN file.Is that what you found?
