What is the Template: section in the Create Workset dialog box? It currently says "None" and there is nothing in the drop down for it and I can't seem to find any documentation on what should be there.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

I am receiving this error when using City of San Diego Seed file (non metric) found here: https://www.sandiego.gov/publicworks/edocref/drawings
My working units are set to US Survey Feet and my units definition is defined and operating properly. The error pops up whenever I activate geopak. I see this has been discussed before but the previous discussions do not have information that has solved my problem.
HI All,
I am trying to use the civil accudraw tool for station-offset and instead of working by station, it works by distance from the beginning of the alignment as you can see in the picture.
Where is the setting so that it works in stationing instead of distance from the start of the alignment?
Thanks in advance.

Can we integrate 3D Rail corridor with 3D Road corridor in Power Rail Track SS4? Or Can we do rail corridor modeling and road corridor modeling simultaneously in Power Rail Track SS4?
Hi
I need to create a company Profile Annotation Group. But where do I find the dgnlib containing the group?
What I need to do is create a grid with stationing and elevation labels (existing and future terrain) like the one on the photo ( from PowerCivil SS4)

Is there a good method or process for doing an engineering review of a proposed OpenRoads model? I have reviewers that need to check things like they would on a set of plans, i.e. cross slopes, superelevation rates and transitions, grading slopes, etc. It's not a scenario where someone just needs to look at it visually, but one where the actual design is able to be checked. A class on this would be very useful if it doesn't already exist.
We have a user trying to make some changes to a project using OpenRoads (SS4). He's having an issue where when the corridor processes anything, even a very minor change it takes minutes. He remembers processing taking sometime previously but nothing like this. Anyone from the Bentley Communities has any suggestion's to speed this up? He makes most of the changes at once and then let it process them at once, but it behaves the same way if he makes a single change. It sometimes crashes before completing the processing, but don't know if that is related or just typical OpenRoads.
I am trying to generate a tin from a statmap downloaded from tnris. The contours have an elevation assigned to them, but the geometry is at elevation 0.
When I build the DAT file from extract graphics, the elevations are also 0
Is there a way I can move all the contour elements to their proper elevation at once and not individually in V8i SS4?
Is there reporting for structures for things like station/offset, inside dimension, depth (rim to invert), etc.??
Hi,
I want to get the surface elevations at certain offset to the main alignment using power rail track. I have tried using station offset report tool but there I am getting elevations of main alignment only.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I am working in a project where I need to make use of multiple alg files all at once. So as a part of that I want to import event points all at once into multiple alg file. Is it possible to do that by using power rail track? Please suggest a way forward.
Thanks in advance,

So the issue is while processing the data we were told to use the wrong scale factor to convert the coordinates from Grid to Ground. We should have instead used the reciprocal of what we were given.
We have already processed the data for the drawing and created all of the extra line work in the drawing which was about a weeks worth of work.
So is there a way to rescale the drawing to the proper scale while also scaling up and updating all of the chains and survey points in the GPK file or do we need to start from scratch?
Hi all,
I opened a ORD DGN (created in ORD Update 2) in the initial release of OpenRail (build 10.03) to have a look at some upcoming ORD Update 3 enhancements like sight distance tools, geometry table editors, SS4 upgrade and translate tools and now have the message below on startup when trying to open back in ORD Update 2.
Does this mean there is a civil data change for Update 3 that means we can't use this data in older ORD builds (ie. not backward compatible)? It would be good to know so rollout can be planned organisation wide to avoid issues.

Hi,
I like using the right click menu View Control to get 2D/3D views on my screen easily with Open Road designer.
But I don't like how the 2D/3D/Profile are set up on the screen (one above the other).
Is there a way to customize how the views are displayed when using this menu ?
Thanks
I have been working on an InRoads custom report so that the output matches the clients requirements. Everything I am doing works in XMLSpy 2017. When I run the report through the Inroads report tool, I get an error.
"Namespace 'http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions' does not contain any functions.
I am including this in my style sheet via: <xsl:stylesheet version="2.0" xmlns:xsl="">www.w3.org/.../Transform" xmlns:fo="">www.w3.org/.../Format" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" xmlns:inr="">mycompany.com/mynamespace"xmlns:fn="http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions">
I am using it to compare my Horizontal Element Node's @elementNumber to the last element's @elementNumber. <xsl:if test="./@elementNumber=fn:max(//HorizontalElements//@elementNumber)">
I have looked through W3C for the proper syntax and everything appears to be correct.
Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks,
Jason

Hello,

Is there a way to create a report of a end condition slope range? For example, I would like to generate a report of station ranges that have slopes of 1:3 or greater.
We have a user trying to make some changes to a project using InRoads (SS2). When he tries to edit the stationing of the corridor within the corridor manager, InRoads starts to crash.
Here's the following error message:
System fault: 5
"CivUstn.mc"DynamicsHook
MDL Loader: Could not load application e:\Builds\ir081107615\Source\InRoads\aecwin\CadDrivers\CivUstn\CivUstn.mc
CIVUSTAT is the MDL debug application.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Do any of the OpenRoads , Inroads, MX, Geopak products read/import ARCGIS data?
