View mesh as terrain in SUE profile view
Hi all. I am working on railroad drainage and using SUE with Powerrail track SS4. My co-worker is creating 3d mesh from template drops, but due to some problems with ss3 and ss4, he has to work in SS2.
I would like to be able to see his mesh elements in my profile view window in order to see if I am achieving enough clearense on my links and nodes. I can't seem to be able to have anything but terrain models display in the profile view window and having his mesh displayed there would greatly help in the working process.
I know it would perhaps be smarter to have a different process but I am only a small part of the machinery when it comes to railupgrade projects and most of my co-workers are using SS2 and is sticking to producing mesh, so I have to play ball and see if I can make it work

Surface Elevations from Cogo Points
I created about 500 cogo points in my inroads project and set elevations for all. I am curious if there is a way to get the surface elevation at each point or do I manually have to draw the profile to figure out the surface elevation at each cogo point location?

OR SS4 - What controls symbology of surface in cross sections?
Hello,
What controls the color\style\weight of terrain in cross sections? I'm creating cross section sheets and my terrain shows up, but with the wrong symbology.
I have my "existing ground" feature style attached to the terrain model. The native styles are set to existing ground, what am I missing?

Curve and Coordinate Data Table
New here and I have a question about generating a curve data table.
Q. How do you create a curve and data table in Geopak without having to copy and past the information from COGO?
I assume it has to be an easier way. I've searched the web as well as this forum for a step be step guide but was unsuccessful.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

OpenRoads DTM export to InRoads Units Issue
When exporting a .DTM for use by our client in InRoads, the exported DTM ends up in metric and not the specified units of US Feet. Short of purchasing InRoads, what is the best way to trouble shoot and/or fix this when exporting to the InRoads .DTM formatted file?

[IR SS2] Move Surface?
Is there a tool to Transform a surface, like there is to Transform geometry?
I have a DTM that I need to move from an incorrect location to a corrected location.
I know i can have InRoads draw in the triangles so that I can pick them up and move them, then recreate my DTM from those triangles (that should work, right?)

ORD V2 Crashes when Exit
Every time I close ORD V2 from the "close" X at the top right corner it crashes on me. I am currently working in SUDA Training dgn's and it's not helpful to know that it's crashing with Bentley dgn's and workspace. Is there a setting I need to activate so it won't happen. Is anyone else experiencing this?
It doesn't crash if I go to File > Exit

Smartline wrong snap elevation

TARGET ALIASING WITH CORRIDORS REFERENCES
In all the tests that I have done, the progran doesn´t recognize as a target aliasing the corridors that are within references.
It only recognizes corridors in the main file.
I need to be able to recognize the corridors in references.
Is this possible?

Problem opening InRoads SS4 dgn file in new ORD Rel. 3
I just installed the new OpenRoads Release 3 (10.03.00.43) and tried to then open an old InRoads SS4 design file. Instead of opening, I get the following error message:
The Civil Data [V8i (SELECTSeries 4)] found in this file is not supported by OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition. Would you like to open the file Read-Only?
I thought this new release was going to have the ability to open older InRoads files? Is this not the case?

where are inroads preferences stored, specifically, Geometry> View Stationing> I've created several and want to share with other users. I've copied my .xin file to other local drives, but Stationing didn't come across.

Can't get Imported DEM Terrain file to line up geographically with Aerial
Good afternoon,
I am having a hard time getting a 3D terrain file to line up with my 2D Topo file. I have used both earthexlplorer and global mapper to create a USGS DEM file and import it into Openroads Designer.
I am yet to be able to get it to align geographically with my aerial image. I know my aerial file is in the right place as when I create a kmz it line up perfectly with the location on Google Earth. I can't imagine what I am missing to get my aerial and terrain to line up with each other. I am working in the State Plane Coordinate System and Imperial Units. I did make sure I converted the DEM to match the coordinate system of my dgn file. The units match as well.
Any help on getting me on the right track would be greatly appreciated.

Deleted nodes remains in flex tables
Hi all. When I'm looking through my flex tables in my design file with SUE elements in it. I notice that wells that have been placed, and then later deleted, remain in the flex tables. This is gonna be a rather big problem when generating rapports.
Is there a way to force a flex table update?
