I have a PC with the 8.11.09.832 version of MicroStation. I followed the instructions in the Wiki articles to get this installed.
However, I still get the wrong version message when trying to install InRoads SS4 (8.11.09.878) -
Is this a MicroStation problem or an InRoads problem?

Hi,
I have set my text favourite to display chainage but whenever I annotate my cross sections it ends up displaying an elevation.
As far as I am aware all of my Vertical Axis Titles are correct.
Why is it doing this?

After installing Microstation SS10 and InRoads 08.11.09.878 or 08.11.09.903(installed at seperate times) i get the following errors when starting either version:
IR SS2 will open without a problem.
Has anyone else run into this yet?
I incorrectly use the wrong number when setting up the workset for a recent project. Is there a way to correct this without creating a new workset definition.
I have not installed 2019 R1 and see that the Migration tools have changed. Some of the features of the prior version seem more flexible than the new version. The video on the new version only shows Survey Features and does not clearly explain where many of the columns of required data needs to come from or any sort of suggested best practice is. The earlier conversion tools had more in depth videos that explain things better.
So, is there any reason we can't use the older tools, or is there some explanation that can be used to explain and convince us to use the newer tool?

We are doing some testing of OpenBridge Modeler, with integration of Civil models produced in ORD, but was wondering what we can do with the bridge design in ORD.
Does anyone know how we can utilize a bridge from OBM in ORD regarding using linear templates to produce spillthrough embankments (with slopes down wingwalls), clipping of pavements, barriers, etc.
Seems to be a lot of potential here, just can't find enough information.

To whom it may concern,
As the project required, we have to estimate the component quantities as per station range. we use the End Area Volume function to estimate the quantities in SS4. But looks the total quantities didn't automatically add all items as per stations.
Please take a look at the spreadsheet that was created by SS4, the Granular A total quantities doesn't match the account if you add all station items.
Please help us solve it.

Hi, I am having a problem when I make the transition between two sections of the corridor, as in the image below, the transition is not filled, only the outlines appear .. Could anyone help me? I am also sending the print of the sections.

I layout a Drainage Network on Open Roads Designer Connect Edition 10.7.0.56, when I open the Explorer to Run my Profile under the Subsurface Utilities Model Tab I will not get a response from the Software instead it will cash on me with out an error notification not letting me move further to view and Analyzed my network profile. Have anyone run into the same issue?
I have the same ORD version as my co-worker, but am missing the workspace drop-down box. How do I enable it? Thanks.

When multiple users work on a OpenRoads Designer / OpenRail project users need access to the same template file .itl
The first user that access PW will be checking out the itl file and will be the only user that will be able to make changes to the file. If the user forget to check the file back in the teams in other offices is basically stuck. This cause allot of frustration among users.
Question:
Would it be possible for multiple users to check out the same file and when they check the file back into PW only transfer the deltas back into PW?
This will mean the file on PW is the master document.
What formula/variable is used by PW to distinguish between what is a delta in a document?

How can I add slope annotation to pond geometry features? Shold it not be after same principals as in the video below?
It works fine if I firs create corridor element and later add element annotation to the slope top, but not if I have a slope top geometry (with same feature definition as in the corridor, both top and bottom slope)
I am using OpenRoads Designer 2019 - Realiese 1 Update 7 - Vers. 10.07.00.56

I have been away from using Superelevation for entirely too long. I recall the Ss2 had a wizard that supported multiple methods. Is there a good explanation of the workflows using the Open Roads tools that are the equivalent of these Wizard tools?
We had a user ask about AASHTO Method 2 and I did not have a good answer for them.
We have a project that is starting in OpenRoads but some of the preliminary drainage design was already completed using InRoads Storm & Sanitary. Are the files and databases created using InRoads Storm & Sanitary translatable to OpenRoads? Or do I need to use the Subsurface Utilities toolbars to recreate my drainage networks and design in OpenRoads?
Where are the grid labels (elevations and Stations) in profile models controlled? Mine don't show up on the sheets. Is there a toggle to turn them on? Please help out a newbee. Thanks in advance!!
Does anybody know how to change the contours on a Delta Terrain? The only way I can see to do it is to change the feature definition. In a normal Terrain model you can just change it to any value on the fly, this does not seem to be the case for Delta Terrains.
