I am working on creating a conflict detection report, but it looks like the general report is displaying conflicts not in the area of this project. So I would like generate a report with just the selected rows in the report preview. Is there a way to do this?

SUE/SUDA Utility insertion point issue
I am working on recreating some existing utilities because the old utility files were done in an older work space. When I try to recreate the line and add nodes at each key point the node doesn't seem to be inserted at the correction location. So the new existing utility I create is off by the diameter of the pipe. Is there something in the node properties where I can fix this or make it snap to the old pipe? (The existing pipe I am trying to model is the pipe on the bottom and the one on top is the one I am creating.)

cross section grid spacing
I am trying to setup cross section sheets in ORD 2019 Rel 1. I have all the settings done and the sheets look ok. However I cannot adjust the gap between sections. I have several sections on one sheet. The section top stops at a random elevation and not the 5 foot interval I need. Then the next section above will begin at the correct even elevation with the 5 foot gap between sections.
My problem is I want the sections to align with my preset sheet grid that covers the entire sheet. The first section will align perfect. The next section on top does not align with my sheet grid, and so on for the next section. I am using the following setting;
CIVIL_CROSSSECTION_RT_TO_LT_SPACING = 0.01000
CIVIL_CROSSSECTION_TOP_TO_BOT_SPACING = 0.10000
CIVIL_CROSSSECTION_SIDE_MARGIN = 0.02083
CIVIL_CROSSSECTION_TOP_MARGIN = 1.30000
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Am I missing a setting to force the top of the section to an even elevation?

Missing Feature Definitions _ Select to connect
Hi,
As a part of my project requirement am in process of transiting my select version model dgn's to Connect version (ORD).
For now the process which i followed is as shown in below link which converts the version of the dgn/model and dgn's are working fine for now.
The issue now am facing is, the feature definitions which i created for using in select version models cant be seen in ORD. Can someone suggest me how to call on all the feature definitions which i created while using the select version for my dgn's into ORD please ?
And, is there any way out to use the select series Templates into the ORD directly, or will i need to recreate all the templates into ORD from scratch.???

Transition Single Face Barrier
Hello,
I'm trying to use the Transition feature in Bentley InRoads to transition a full single face barrier down to a block shape.
After connecting the points from one template to another, it takes me to the "Edit Transition Midpoint" window where I need to remove some of the constraints from my template. The problem is that my template is solely based on a single point, the Edge of Pavement so to speak, where the proposed ground intersects the single face barrier. Every other point is constrained indirectly to that single, "known" point.
The problem is when I remove the constraints those points just shoot down to zero. If I don't remove the constraints, those points just stay where they are and there's no physical transition.
My best guess is that it's not possible to transition both vertically and horizontally at the same time. In which case, how would you do it both ways separately.

Help! Superelevation in transition between templates

Estou tendo um problema quando aplico minha superelevação no corredor com a transição entre os modelos, talvez você possa me ajudar.
Minha transição foi perfeita entre os meus templates, mas depois foi completamente desconfigurada, como se meus pontos não fossem mais conectados. Estou mandando uma foto para demonstrar.

ORD-Add clipping references not working
I have a problem when I add a corridor clipping. ORD doesn't clip the corridor. I have others dgn with differents corridors and the program add corridor clipping correctly at various corridors but in other corridors not. This problem has started when I installed the ORD last version (10.07.00.56).
In the next capture we can see the problem.
When the corridor is complex (Curve with small radius or the interval template is short (5m)) the ORD doesn't add the cippling reference (area marked in red) but the corridor is simple the ORD add clipping reference correctly (area marked in blue).
The previous versions I don´t have this problem but the last version add the next elements:
- Corridor clipping tools now heals the end caps of the resultant meshes from the clip.
- Corridor clipping allows clips from 3D mesh. Only clipping where the clipping mesh exists in three dimensional space.
I think that the new features and enhancements have created this problem.

Breakline Extraction
Hello everyone,
I am a beginner in OpenRoads. In the Bentley product description it is mentioned that OpenRoads can extract Breaklines. I am using LIDAR and I am able to create a terrain from it. I wanted to know whether I can extract Breakline from my LIDAR points using Open roads. Currently we extract breaklines manually using micro station.

[OR Survey] DIST Code Anomaly
When using the DIST Code in InRoads Survey, the 90 degree angle that was turned was always based upon the last segment, even if that segment was also from a DIST code.
Here is a segment of TDS Codes:

So after it draws the first two points, the DIST 20 adds a 20' segment and a 90 degree angle to the right, from that last segment. Then it draws two more points and on the second point, the DIST -15.2 draws another segment 15.2 ' long, but at a 90 degree angle to the left. So far, so good. The next shot draws another point with a segment from the end of the DIST created segment but when it tries to apply its DIST 5.25, the segment it draws is at a 90 degree angle from a "virtual" segment the current point (3613) to the last "actual" point (3612) instead of using the DIST created segment.
In this one figure, this warped output, when compared to InRoads Survey output, occurs twice.
In this image, the Red Arrows point at the Open Roads results and the Green Arrows point at the InRoads Survey Results. The Orange Arrows show the last two actual points and the general direction of the "virtual" segment that the DIST angle is measured from.

ORD/Connect Workspace/Workset Locations
I have out of the box workspace working. I'm now trying to adjust to our current workflow.
Existing workflow > Connect/ORD workflow wanted
Workspace located at I:\!Everyone\Bentley\WS\(Client Standard) > I:\Common\Bentley\WorkSpaces\(Client Standard)
Project(pcf) located at I:\!Everyone\Bentley\CMT_V8i\Projects\(office controlled by an environmental variable)> Have this one working, but everything points to this directory
Data Files located on the L:(client) > no change in connect/ORD
If I change _USTN_WORKSETROOT, _USTN_WORKSETDGNS, _USTN_WORKSETSTANDARDS it either locks up or they don't change.
Is there a way to make this work or do we have to change our workflow?

Station Offset Annotation Issues
Using Power InRoads SS4 v08.11.09.904
I have a proposed centerline alignment (CA), with an associated vertical alignment. I also have a proposed ditch alignment (DA) that has an associated alignment.
I am trying to annotate the DA with Station, Offset and Elevation information for construction layout purposes. The Stationing should be relative to the CA, the offset should be the distance measure from the CA to the DA and the elevation should be extracted from the DA vertical alignment. I have tried to use the "Station Offset Annotation" which is located under Geometry > View Geometry, but the offsets are showing up as 0, instead of the true offset.
Is anyone else having this issue????

ORD 2019 update 1 - report on x-section - trying to get station offset of crossing features = problem with station offset report
Hi, when we were using using Inroads SS2 we could produce report of our cross section that include crossing features. The way we processed would be:
1- generate the cross section
2- update with the proposed top surface crossing feature (ex: left of pavement, right of pavement, CL of ditch, etc..)
3- Annotate the features
4- Generate a cross section report, the report would then include the station of the alignment (station of the generated cross sections) and also the other points that were added in the section.
We could then have station offset, X,Y,Z of points at given station.
So how do we do in ORD?
There is the station offset report, but there is two problems with this command:
1- it's not giving the element elevation, it can only show the alignement elevation not the different elements. - Is this a bug??? When I'm using this command to get my left end of pavement station-offset-elevation I want the elevation to be the left side of pavement not the center line.
2- the starting station of the element is based on the station of the element, so if my element start at station 320+184.48 an I set an interval of 10m the next station would then be 320+194.48 an so on… So with this method I cannot get what I could with SS2. If I'm giving this to the surveyor he is not going to be happy.

ORD 2019 R1 problem with crossing points/ features in annotation group
OK, here is my issue:
I have created a cross section annotation group for all of my possible crossing features (R/W, Guardrail, cable barrier, etc.). I have also created cross section dynamic entries for said features. In placing a feature and running the command "Quick profile from surface" and setting a profile along the element- in this case a ROW line- I see that the dynamic cross section view picks up the feature and applies the element templates correct attributes to the cell which I have attached to it for the dynamic sections. OK, so far, so good... GREAT! So, I now run the named boundary application with a default cross section grid annotation group and view my cross sections; all is great so far. I then apply my proposed crossing features (which includes the RW, cable barrier, guardrail cells) annotation group and the group annotates the cable barrier (which is a point built into the template) but does not annotate any of the points which are external from the template even though they show up in the dynamic sections just fine. I went back and checked my annotation group for these crossing features and all seems fine (in fact this group contains the very cable barrier which annotates just fine).
Is there a glitch in the software, do I not have a toggle turned on, or is there something else which is required to get these "non-template" features to display?

[OR SS4] Is there a way to get terrain contours and contour labels to DGN text and lines?
Hello,
I've used the fence file to get the contours to a separate file, but they are still part of the terrain.
If I drop the terrain, I get the contours, but all the contour text disappears.
How do I get contour labels into a basic 2d dgn? Export to dtm and label in native?

[ORD] Surface template and distance between points
While applying surface template to alternative surface created from linear template, defined distance from one point to another point (template origin) while modeling adds distance of two components that are between those points.
Is this a error or I do something wrong... pls help.
Point 1 (template origin)
point 2 (Parent "Point 1" constant distance)
point 3 (Parent "Point 2" constant distance)
Point 4 ( set vertical distance from parent "Point 1" (parametric constrains)
When I check the template everythink is ok, but in model Point 4 i pushed lower then set vertical value from parent "Point 1", by distance of 2 simple components that are inbetween Point 1 and Point 4.

Forcing SUDA to update according to the DGNlib
We are currently working on annotation for our SUDA models. Currently we are able to annotate some elements in a fresh dgn, however we cannot get the new annotation setup into an existing SUDA model.
Is there a way to force SUDA to update it's SUDA model to the latest dgnlib file that contains our SUDA components and annotation setup?
